Support Coordination

NDIS Support Coordination

Support Coordination is a capacity building support that helps NDIS participants to understand and use their plan, connect with providers, and build the skills and confidence to manage their own supports.

Support coordination is a funded support under the NDIS, so you don’t have to pay for it out of your own pocket.

Benefits of working with a support coordinator:

  1. Helps understand the NDIS system and how to make most of your plan
  2. Helps coordinate your supports and ensure that they meet your needs
  3. Helps you build your skills and confidence to manage your own supports
  4. Advocate for you and ensure that you are getting the support you need.

Once you have been approved for support coordination, you can choose your own support coordinator. They play a valuable role in helping you achieve your goals and live a full and independent life.

Support Coordination is a vital component of the NDIS that enhances the participant’s ability to exercise choice and control over their lives, access necessary supports, and work towards achieving their goals and improving their overall well – being.
